9/15/07 - 9/17/07 - S2000 VT Green Mountain Tour

Formerly Vermont S2K Day but that name was "trade marked" by S2KCA so we began using Green Mountain Tour (GMT). There was a GMT in 2004 as well. This event took place ove rthe weekend of September 15 & 16, based out of the Windjammer on Williston Road, South Burlington, VT.

We had 20 S2000s, a Mini and a Porsche. Double the number of cars + from last year and the event was a blast. I swore on Sunday morning after 5 hours of sleep that I would not be involved in a 2008 event but... I am now already putting ideas down on paper (or into a doc on the computer anyway) for a future event.

If it does not conflict with other S2K events in 20008 we'll see :)

Most of the people arrived Friday night. There was a mad clean fest even though weather predicted 90% rain the following morning (which it did) :)

Pizza dinner for 27 at Lee Zachary's - yum! Did not make my stomach happy though it tasted really good. Gotta go for a salad next time :( After pizza about 1/2 the group hung out at the Windjammer bar and watched Red Sox/Yankees.
