Thank you again to George for the two free two-day tickets! They were delivered at 10:45 and I was in the car driving to CT at 11:30 :)

Friday watched practice and qualifying, visited the pits and got some good sights and sounds. Sat atop the hill near the Esses and that seems to be a good place. You get to see about 4 turns, alot of passing and some spin offs.

LMP1/2 cars were running in the 46 second range today for qualifying! Acura 1-2!

Photo is about a dozen cars who are part of a 38 NSX paddock attraction and will get to do laps of the track on Saturday. Tried to get some S2000s in on the action but they are not "Acuras".

Saturday we got there later than intended and there were alot of people! Would be cool to bring a popup tent next time and have an s2ki tent maybe.

Here's the poll sitting car, Scott Sharp/David Brabham, got to hear it run for awhile as well.
Former CART driver Gil de Ferran is now back driving, he is P2 for Saturday's race.

Only NON Honda I will admit to liking ;) The Aston Martin is a sexy car.

Victory Lap! Just watched the race on Speed, so happy to see that Brabham passed Bernhard before the spin, a valid victory based on team/car effort, not on someone's mistake.

Saw this sign on the way into the track, very prophetic! CT based team and CT born co-driver (Sharp). Great day for the Acura program.

Parked with Mike and Anthony's S at the track.

Caravan down

More pics of the NSX on Saturday... 38 total on hand, this car had what looked like track numbers on it

I'm not really a Ford fan but ELEVEN GT40s in the parking lot is impressive! There were hundreds of Corvettes, Porsches and BMWs as well.

NSX out on track

NSX out on track 2

NSX out on track 3

Many of us travel great distances for meets... here are two Vettes parked together, one from FL and one from VT
