7/22/08 Poconos (PIR) Track Day

AWESOME track day! We got 6 sessions (20 minutes each) including a wet one. Which was great because I like to run in the rain AND more than 1/2 the participants went home at this point so the last two runs of the day were VERY few cars on track.

Had a great time meeting and hanging out with the Metro crew. We had 14 S2000s on track, so there were a few in EVERY experience level. First time I have run more than a couple laps on track with other S.

By end of day I reached my goal of 110, equalling my best at WGI last year. Can't wait to try that again in October with better tires. Next year will definitely attend this event again with the Del Val Miata club - they put on a great track event.

1st event at PIR, 9th overall track day.
