9/23/07 NHIS with SCDA Track Day 4

On track at turn 3 - which I think I finally have "down" as well as possible now!


The event was actually both Sat & Sun but I could not afford to do both so opted for Sunday, as it fit with travel plans better. What a GREAT day! Had another great instructor, a fellow S2000 owner who showed me yet another new way of driving the track and let me play solo for the first time in sessions 3&4.

I also met another Silverstone owner from Vermont! Jeremy and Jen live not very far from me and hopefully we can hookup for some group drives.

We had a few fun laps running in the same group on track together, then Jeremy passed me and my instructor reminded me that his car was lighter because he didn't have an instructor adding weight! Wait til next time Jeremy :)

Running Solo for the first time! Turn 12 onto the front straight - first time over 100! I hit 101 before having to turn in at turn 1 about a quarter mile down from there...

Jeremy's car - he tried to hide away from the garage but I found him and made him put his top down!
